28 Days Later

28 Dec

The streets are emtpy.

Real empty.

After nursing a hangover, doing some laundry, and watching Shrek 3, I hit the streets with my bike again and discovered there was noone around.

Kinda cool actually.

I took tons of video weaving in and out of traffic but I lost my camera paragliding a few days later (more on that soon to come) – so not too many pictures from this trip :/

Everyone likes what they like and I realized that biking is definitely on top of my list.  One of the best ways to explore a city I think.

At night we met up with Rocio and her sister and it was great to see some familiar faces.  In true Geneseo fashion, we got wasted at night even though the bar scene was definitely lacking some.

After a few brutal nights out, we woke up the next day before 10am to check out of the apartment and return our bikes.  We rode with our packs on at first but quickly realized that was more challenging than we wanted – so we dropped off the luggage at the Palermo House and hung out in downtown BA until it was time to leave for Mendoza.

Took some shots of the architecture, in between napping on some park benches.

finishing off the day with an overnight bus to Mendoza, Argentina's wine country. Got some pretty nifty seats on a 2 story bus. Take that one Greyhound.
